Sandy Bear is a Welsh bereavement charity that supports children and young people who have been bereaved. We work across Wales, subject to funding, offering support to ensure that children and young people have the best outcomes after someone they love dies.
What is the role?
We are looking for people (18+) who enjoy social media. From liking our posts to helping create content for our feed, we have a role for you. You can get involved as much or as little as you like. There will be opportunities to help craft new posts, reels and stories across our social media platforms with our social media person, but if you just want to like and shares our posts that’s OK too. Getting the message of Sandy Bear to the widest audience is what matters. And it can be done any time or place, so it’s a perfect role for people who want to volunteer, but don’t have much time.
The role will include:
- Liking and sharing posts across social media platforms
- The opportunity to help create content
- Using visual media suites
- Gaining experience of volunteering with a charity.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiastic individuals who are keen on using social media.
- Some knowledge of social media, and the different platforms.
- A willingness to give time, whether regularly or occasionally
